About

A community calendar
built for everyone.

SyncforChange is an open, no-login community calendar designed to connect nonprofits, community organizations, and the public around the events that matter — from food drives and tree plantings to youth mentoring and neighborhood arts festivals.

Why we built this

Local community work happens in dozens of places — Eventbrite, Facebook groups, mailing lists, paper flyers — and almost never in one place. Volunteers and neighbors miss out on opportunities, and organizations duplicate effort. SyncforChange aggregates the work in one accessible place, free for anyone to browse.

What makes us different

  • No login to discover. The calendar is fully public — browse and RSVP without creating an account.
  • Curated, not algorithmic. Every event is reviewed by a human moderator before publishing.
  • Cross-org collaboration first. Built-in co-hosting cues make it easy for nonprofits to find partners and amplify each other.
  • Cause-area native. Filter by Youth, Food Security, Housing, Environment, and more.

Get involved

Whether you're a nonprofit looking to publish your work, a volunteer searching for ways to give back, or a community member wanting to find more ways to connect, there's a place for you here.
